I'd never heard of this and actually watched it because of your review! I agree with all your criticism, but the missed potential you mentioned made me want to check it out. I like the idea of the lead couple and wish I could see them in a better movie!
The jukebox musical trend is really getting annoying. Not that they're all bad, but boy it's clear when they're being lazy.
