Yo ho ho, and a bottle of the HELL? It's Pirates of Penzance 80s-style with the whacked-out insanity that is The Pirate Movie!
Located on a small expansion shelf about midway between the Third and Fourth Circles, Musical Hell is presided over by Diva, a minor demon charged with passing judgement on the worst musicals ever committed to film. (She still hasn't figured out if this is their punishment or hers.) Take a seat on the bench and have your earplugs ready, because court is now in session.

Great review! If there's anything I love more than Gilbert & Sullivan it's bad interpretations of Gilbert & SullivanReplyDelete
Incidentally, have you ever thought about taking on "The Apple"? It would seem to be right in your demonic wheelhouse.
Everything I've heard about The Apple makes it sound wonderfully awful. It's definitely a possibility for the future!Delete
